It's about time, isn't it? Between Job One (on again, off again) and Job Two (just often enough to mess up the rest of my time off), I really need to actually do something with this journal.

By complete accident I came across this absolutely perfect pair of stories set after Voldemort's "defeat". The stories,on LJ by The Tales of Josan , are called "The Village" and "The Village, Clarified" and may be found here. A stranger, dressed all in black, purchases a home in a small community in Quebec, Canada. Anything greater by way of description would ruin it.

Equally delicious but totally unrelated to "The Village" is "Nary A Grain of Good Sense", also found at "The Tales of Josan" . Severus is living the not-so-good life after the end of the war when Fred and George decide they need him to work with them. They've even thought of the perfect excuse for the Ministry to accept Severus at their work and in their lives. The pairing is Fred/Severus/George and is very well done.
